Gender Focus
Among AJA members who want to go organic, there is a majority of women. The latter are already very active in the Aromatic and Medicinal Plants sector, which must be a biological sector to meet market demand. The planting experience of moringa hedgerows is also carried by women. The project will therefore pay particular attention to young women farmers in Sened.
Notable Community Participation
As the project is run by a youth organization, they are at the initiative, in the implementation of the activities, and will be the direct beneficiaries.
