Degraded land rehabilitation, conservation and sustainable use of natural resources through income generating activities
The project is planned to rehabilitate and manage natural forest so that to contribute for mitigating local and global climate change impacts through promoting alternative income generation activities.cooperative members have planned to work different kind of bio-physical measure like soil and water conservation such as Macro basin, soil bund, stone bund and trench check dam constructed and Reforest with planting 5,250 seedling of indigenous and plantations. 25,000 Fodder seeds /seedlings of Elephant grass and Desho grass on total farm land of 6ha (0.3mx0.3m spacing), promoted area of land enclosed and managed cut and carry system will be practiced for reduced free grazing over the degraded land.
