Turkey?s Butterflies Field Guide is a publication which aims to fill an important gap for nature conservationists and nature guides in Turkey. This is a guide which can be used directly on the field and holds detailed information permitting the identification of butterfly species. With this field guide, we aim at raising awareness about butterflies in Turkey, increasing the number butterfly watchers and also serving at nature conservation through increasing data collected on butterflies on the field in Turkey. This guide which gives detailed information about 377 butterfly species, their Turkish and scientific name, tips helping identification of species on the field, their flight period, the habitats they live, their distribution in Turkey and the foodplants the caterpillars feed, will be printed as 1.000 copies and distributed.
