Training of local community of Dorghe Sangui wetland for reduction and control of invasive species of plant and improving it for growth of endemic species (Mohamadyar, West Azerbaijan)
Because of drying of Urmia Lake and the various revitalization work being done, the traditional water rights have been changed with the shortage of water. The salinity is increasing in the satellite wetlands and this project will develop a state-of-the-art pilot on working to remedy the changes in the groundcover of the Dorge Sangi wetland and working on stabilizing the plant varieties due to salination of the wetland.
