Restoration and sustainability of Gobo-baba-ali International Wetland (Mahabad, West Azerbaijan)
Quba Babaali wetland in Mahabad in West Azarbaijan as a periphery weltand in the south part of Urmia Lake and registered in the Ramsar Siteshas been damaged due to water shortage and management issues. The project consists of revitalization through community participation and multi stakeholder intervention with consultation with the winners of the Equator Initiative prize of 2016 and the network.
