Promoting Public Awareness of Global Environment
Conducting workshops for the communities on the sustainable use potential of salt marsh plants. We prepared a video film based on the workshop conducted (and a copy will be sent to GEF office)
Notable Community Participation
Some young people (men and women) were involved in conducting field surveys (survey of cattle grazing in salt marshes, evaluation of impacts of Prosopis invasion in salt marshes etc.)
