Inovative Financial Mechanisms
A website will be created to promote awareness about the biodiversity of the Knuckles Conservation Forest and the conservation of the buffer zone of the Knuckles Conservation forest. This website will be also used to promote eco-tourism in the area.
Capacity - Building Component
Awareness programmmes will be organized to educate communities of two Grama Niladhari (GN) divisions living close to the project area about sustainable environment conservation. Youth will be trained to work as eco-tourist guides in the proposed eco-tourism zone.
