Priority will be given to youth, women and low income people in partnerships and decision making in the project activities to ensure better transparency, sharing responsibilities and to achieve maximum community participation and to distribute project benefits equally among the community.

Soil conservation practices such as stone bunds and live fences will be applied for the lands of the beneficiaries. Minor cash crop plants and fruit trees will be provided for planting in these lands. The project will provide seeds, plants and planting material to beneficiaries to establish 50 eco-friendly home gardens. Two training programmes will be organized to introduce new business opportunities to the community. 20 farmers from the two villages will be trained and facilitated for bee keeping. These activities will generate alternative livelihoods for the community

The project will work with local communities closely, therefore use of local language will be a primary factor for conservation activities.

Two practical training programmes on soil conservation will be organized for the community. Four training programmes will be organized on composting, organic liquid fertilizer making & eco-friendly home garden planning. Two training workshops will be organized for the community on business management & to introduce new business opportunities. The community will be trained on bee keeping through the project.
