Conservation of Biodiversity in 160 Hectares of Land in Four Villages in Minipe DS Division in Kandy District
There are 1022 families living in six isolated villages in the Knuckles forest area in the Minipe Divisional Secretariat Division in the Kandy District. 150 families and 3 villages will be involved in this project. The low-income families must walk 4 to 7 km through the forest and face the threat of elephants. The project aims to improve the livelihood of the people in the area.
