Solar Power Excess Co-benefits
The main goal of the project is a demonstration of the solar energy benefits in providing hot water supply to prevent climate changes.
Specific tasks of the project are:
1. Installation of the solar system for water heating in the student dormitory in Zaporizhya Electrotechnical College of Zaporizhya National Technical University.
2. Distribution of information about the project to raise awareness of the community regarding the use of alternative energy sources.

Gender Focus
Gender equality is a part of project policy and all parties participate in project activities on equal base and benefit from project results. Overall 31 women and 29 men took part in the project.
Promoting Public Awareness of Global Environment
Informational materials about the project were distributed in the media, among citizens and representatives of the business sphere. Two round tables and a presentation of the project were also held. These measures raised awareness of the community regarding the use of alternative energy sources.
