The project title ?Environment from the Perspective of Afghan Women Artists in Kabul? implemented by young women to depict the importance biodiversity conservation in Afghanistan by art of professional paintings and campaigns. The project celebrated environmental days and showcased the women environmental art work. More than 50 high quality paintings prepared by 50 young women in the project. Important species of wildlife of Afghanistan have been identified for the paintings with the support from Wildlife Conservation Society. The project was highly effective in terms of involving artist in environment. Each women painted one painting of an important species. They also conducted exhibitions in schools for children to know the important wildlife species of Afghanistan. For the purpose of awareness raising, the paintings were printed over the notebook and distributed to students. The women artist group have recently received a grant from National Environmental Protection Agency and painted the important wildlife species of Afghanistan on the Kabul Zoo outer boundary walls. During the pandemic, the group of 20 women artist produced masks and specialized clothing for the health workers with the support they received from the government of Afghanistan.
