The protect titled ?Improving Women Livelihood by Promoting Cultivation of Medicinal Plant (Aloe Vera) In Kabul? implemented by Tawana Capacity Building and Social Organization. The project established an Aloe Vera farm managed by women. Around 220 women benefited directly by the project. Those women selected by the project which were more vulnerable including widows and disabled. Total 200 women benefited from this project, and their capacity enhanced to grow Aloe Vera plants in their homes and gardens and sell them in the market. Currently, around 10,000 Alovera plants have been grown in green house established by the project, and many more grown by the women in their homes. They have plan to make soup and other products from it. Though the project is completed, the grantee partner is helping the women in marketing/selling the high value medicinal plants. The Grantee Partner NGO is also headed by a woman.
