Project Characteristics and Results

Emphasis on Sustainable Livelihoods

Except for lighting, all other needs for energy resources are met at the expense of firewood. As a result of the project, heating of industrial and residential areas, water heating, thermal energy required for milk processing will be fully met with biogas energy as well as 3 rooms for staff Working conditions will improve

Significant Participation of Indigenous Peoples

The meetings will help to activate the communities to facilitate the fulfillment of the project goals and objectives and will prepare the ground for further educational activities in the communities. During the seminars, an informal "community relations" eco-committee will be set up, whose main task will be to monitor and facilitate the project through involvement.

Gender Focus

The project executor is 2 women out of 3 persons detained in the group. Equal participation of women and men will be ensured in the course of the project, the ratio of 50/50 will be observed in information and educational events. Women and men alike will gain knowledge and practical skills on the use of climate change, renewable energy resources, energy efficient technologies and access to environmentally friendly fertilizers. The project focuses on improving the working, living, hygienic and working conditions of women and men, which is very important for the rural population and especially for women living in the mountainous region. The direct positive results of the project will equally affect the women working on the target farm.

Capacity - Building Component

The project therefore focuses on empowering the local population and raising awareness about climate change, energy conservation through the use of renewable energy and energy efficient technologies, protection of the natural environment, increasing agricultural productivity and sustainable development;

Inovative Financial Mechanisms

The results of the project will be shared with the help of regional media - by printing a newspaper article, preparing a TV story, information about the project implementation and results will be disseminated on the Internet through news agencies, as well as informative demonstrations to ensure the project. An information triple will be published and distributed, a seminar will be held, a newspaper article will be published, and a TV story will be broadcast on regional television. A demonstration will be organized, a press release will be prepared and distributed

Promoting Public Awareness of Global Environment

Within the framework of various information campaigns, such as: dissemination of information triplets in the target communities; Conducting seminars and trainings for the target groups. Project Results

A modern 20 m3 biogas plant with a capacity of 20 m3 has been installed in a cattle farm near the village of Zazalo in the village of Ude, village of Adigeni municipality.
