Network Development of Sorghum Processed Business Products to Overcome Local Agricultural Problems with Medium Scale Massive Marketing Systems
The general objectives of this activity include:
? Supports sorghum farming in order to improve water use efficiency by increasing sorghum consumption through massive marketing
Values: Economic, Social, Cultural, and Environmental
For the vision and mission of the proposed program is to support improvements in water use patterns through improved management and marketing of sorghum. Making sorghum as an alternative to local food while enhancing local food identity as a form of cultural property owned. Through the campaign and marketing of sorghum agricultural products, it is hoped that it can increase the interest of farmers to cultivate sorghum again.
Expected results at the end of collaboration with GEF SGP
At the end of the collaboration with GEF SGP it is hoped that the processed sorghum products have established a good marketing system from upstream to downstream. So that farmers will continue to plant sorghum, given the paradigm that exists in farmers, that agricultural products that they plant must bring economic benefits.
Mainstreaming Gender and Social Inclusion
What is the role of men and women in the proposed activity (focusing on women's needs). How this activity can be enjoyed by all groups in society including marginalized groups.
Gender division in the program carried out has the same portion, where men and women will have their respective roles according to their portion.
? In the sorghum processing process run by Dalen Mesa there is a women's participation in developing sorghum production.
? Products in the form of consumption materials are very close to women to process them into fast food.
Through the implementation of the work program design that was made, there are several things that will later be enjoyed by all community groups, such as:
? Water in the dry season can be used for other things.
? Variations in the types of plants that exist, so they do not cause a fall in prices on the market, as is usually the case.
? The existence of micro-economic development with the production of processed sorghum in the village.

How does the community measure the success of activities
? planning and organizing activities
In the initial stages of the planned program indicators will be made to measure the success per activity of the planned program. This plan will be carried out together with Kupang Batanam for the modeling of the joint venture that will be run and consolidated with Dalen Mesa for the form of cooperation between the Semau Muda - Kupang Batanam business group and Dalen Mesa.

? implementation of activities
In each implementation of activities related to the program will be based on indicators that have been prepared previously. With a general description of implementation:
? Dalen Mesa will be a supplier of processed sorghum products in the form of flour and rice to the Semau Muda - Kupang Batanam business group
? The Semau Muda - Kupang Batanam business group will make branding and packaging models of products made.
? The Semau Muda - Kupang Batanam business group will be a business unit to market the processed sorghum products in the form of flour and rice from the Dalen Mesa group.
? Training for the development of the Semau Muda - Kupang Batanam business group will involve existing networks such as Pikul and Terasmitra.
? monitoring and evaluating activities
Monitoring of activities will be carried out on every activity such as ensuring supplier readiness for the products ordered can be provided according to time, quality, and quantity. In addition there will be joint monitoring between the Semau Muda - Kupang Batanam business group with Pikul and or Terasmitra while the program is running. Then the evaluation will be carried out at the end of each monitoring activity and per month to ensure that everything is still in line with the initial planning. This evaluation will broadly be divided into 2 main types of evaluation, namely the evaluation of the Semau Muda - Kupang Batanam business group and the evaluation between the Semau Muda - Kupang Batanam business group and Dalen Mesa.

Opportunities for sustainability of activities
? How key behaviors support the program and benefit from this program
The planned program will run systemically when the form of cooperation made in the initial stages runs well. Where the main key is marketing of products that are made and managed together. With the intervention of Dalen Mesa on the quality and quantity of products made, then creating a good marketing system from upstream to downstream by Semau Muda and Kupang Batanam through a joint effort, the benefits of the end of the program will have a direct impact on the groups involved. The paradigm that develops in farmers is that the agricultural products they plant must be able to bring economic benefits, so that if Semau Muda - Kupang Batanam can create a good market system, then this process will continue to repeat itself and run automatically.

? What is the planned sustainability of the activities after funding from GEF SGP ends?

? Management and maintenance of the results of activities and Business Plans

The Dalen Mesa Farmer Group will pawn the suppliers of the Semau Muda - Kupang Batanam business group. Where the price will be determined from Dalen Mesa and the price to be sold by considering the cost of branding, packaging, marketing, and shipping that will be made transparently so that all parties can see changes in prices.

? Distribution of responsibilities within institutions / groups
At the end of funding from GEF SGP, the system was created
