The Jakun community aims to further enhance their appreciation of the forest flora and fauna by increasing both their traditional knowledge and indigenous management system as well as incorporate scientific knowledge and technical tools ? both a view to conserving the biodiversity and to demonstrate that a dualistic approach to conservation is possible.
