An environmentally friendly production model project related to bean products grown with ancestral seeds and traditional methods was applied in Akçabelen district of Bey?ehir district. In this project, we have stated that a seed sustained the continuity of life and a new life. Nowadays, products affected by chemical, physical and bad environmental conditions and even genetic alterations are increasing rapidly. At this point, the seeds of this product produced in the Akçabelen neighborhood have been produced for over 100 years without any genetic alteration. Recognizing such a healthy and high quality product and facilitating the access of consumers are among our greatest goals. Bey?ehir is located in the south-east of the lake, which is named after its name in the region of the region. Akçabelen district of Konya province is located in this region. According to the statistics of the year 2012, 1064 people live in Konya city center, 128 km away from Bey?ehir district is 36 km.
With the project activities, Akçabelen farmer will contribute to the national and international showcase of this product, which adopts an environmentally friendly form of agriculture which protects its natural bean variety in the long term.
