The project is aimed at promoting sustainable value chains in rice-shrimp production in order to improve the livelihoods of local people in Bac Lieu province.

The planning grant is provided to the grantee for them to elaborate the project, undertake baseline assessments, conduct consultations at relevant levels (community, local authorities) and develop/finalize project proposal to submit for GEF SGP?s approval.
