Karak Valley Eco-touristic Trail Development
The project will be implemented in Karak Valley; valley of rich biodiversity with unique fauna and flora. The project aims at developing the Karak Valley trail and organize the eco-tourism practices to become eco-friendlier. Thus, through integrating the biodiversity concepts and economic sustainability.
Project will target both visitors and tourism services?/practices? providers from the local community in the following activities:
? Develop the touristic infrastructure through the establishment of visitor?s center
? Develop the eco-tourism trail all the way from Mumia village to Karak Valley
? Develop and execute an awareness program targeting both visitors and service providers; and
? Build the capacities of guides and services providers from the local community.
