Red List of Domesticated Animals Biodiversity Status in Jordan: Initiating Awareness, Capacity Building, Implementation and Dissemination
The project aims at developing the Red list of Jordan livestock breeds/ species. Thus, project activities will include the preparation and development of the first Red list of Jordan livestock and then disseminating the list nationally and internationally in order to maintain its continuation and sustainability.
The project will also build the capacity of farmers (male and female) to assess the extinction status of their livestock because their sustainable feedback considers a milestone in conservation genetic plan and to maintain sustainability of the Red List.
