Capacity Building for Yarmouk Area' Livestock Farmers through the Green Fodder Cultivation, Reducing the Threats to Yarmouk Forest Reserve
The project aimed at reducing the pressure on Yarmouk?s natural pasture regulating the grazing practices in a participatory approach with Yarmouk Forest Reserve. The Agricultural Cooperative Society for Livestock Owners established a fodder production unit for the benefit of the livestock owners within Yarmouk area, thus encouraging them to be committed to the reserve?s grazing management plan and sustaining their livelihood as an income generating unit.
