Medicinal Plants Protection and the Emphasizes on local Livelihoods
The project will work on the protection of wild medicinal plants in Tubnah?s village. The project will raise the awareness of local community on the importance of medicinal plants conservation. The local community will also be targeted in income generating initiatives dependent on the medicinal plants; 8 families will be supported at the household level to plant medicinal plants at their grans while another 5 families will be supported financially to plant mushrooms. Finally, the project will work on marketing the medicinal plants through designing a logo for the final product, packaging, etc.
