Protection of Biodiversity in South Araba Valley- Municipality of Rahmeh and Qatar
The project mainly aims at conserving the unique biodiversity of Wadi Araba. This will be carried out through establishing a nursery after collecting the seeds of native endangered plants. Afterwards, water springs at the area will be located and rehabilitated, and plantation campaigns will be organized to plant these endangered species in their native environment.
Finally, the local community of Rahmeh and Qatar -including youth and women- will be involved in the project awareness programs and income generating initiatives.
