UWS CRANE HABITAT PROTECTION PROJECT
The project will identify and promote commercial biodiversity conservation enterprises that ensure reduced wildlife (Grey crowned crane and Shoebill) killing and habitat degradation including restoring breeding areas and enhancing adjacent communities participation in their conservation in the shores of Lake Victoria, and promoting an optimal biodiversity integrated management strategy that also delivers on livelihood options enhancement for Lake Victoria Shore adjacent communities in Mayuge District.
