The location of the project is in the suburbs of Sanghar city, mainly concentrating on ten villages located within a fifteen-mile radius of one another. It was started in Jan 1994 for a period of five years.

The main goals of the project, which included the GEF problem areas were mainly concerning the projection of the rich and latest information about environment and preventative measures against pollution through film shows, seminars, gatherings, especially in communities with a majority of women .The objectives also included the maintenance of Huries in at least ten villages and promotion of preventive steps against pesticide, fertilizer and water-logging.

Activities to be carried out under the project were the performance of awareness and information cell and also the cultivation of Huries. The project participants and beneficiaries numbered around ten thousand, and the anticipated results were positive.
