CPO proposes to start an Environment Conservation and Urban Forestry Program programme for this area, by introducing new technologies, community organization and training for human resource development. CPO is maintaining 15 home schools in this area; each school consists of 1 teacher, average 28 students and 1 mother committee of the student's mothers. They all provide sufficient network to conduct this program successfully.

The project mainly envisages development of the ecology. A nursery shall be established to provide the community the required and suitable seeds for the tree plantation, kitchen garden and flower raising. The project ill introduce schemes of tree plantation in the two tree planting seasons every year I kitchen 9 garden schemes and solid waste & garbage disposal schemes.
Providing technical assistance and guidance to the community along with seeds, fertilizers for the plantation The families will be motivated to maintain kitchen gardens in their homes by various methods. This scheme will help the families to meet their demand. Sell excessive products to the neighbors or in e market and above all the greenery will help in reducing the air pollution Most of the land in the area and along with the streets and roads is un attended and suitable for tree plantation.

Expected concrete results are: 10,OOO plants in one year, by utilizing the staff and activists of the whole program. In one y r 300 kitchen gardens shall be made and 2 nurseries for plant breeding and sale of plants shall be organized.

The planned activities include; one male and one female social organizer shall be appointed to motivate and provide technical assistance to the community, rough Home School Network. Community participation in tree plantation and kitchen gardens hall is started. Two nurseries shall be maintained by gardeners under the supervision of the Pr ram staff, which will provide top quality seeds and technical assistance to the community n very economical prices. The mother committees, students, teachers and other program a 'visits shall be trained to promote the schemes of environment conservation, urban forestry a d solid base garbage disposal. The nurseries shall be self-sustained, after the initial fixed t assistance and as well as the kitchen gardens schemes will sustain by generating funds. The initiative shall promote female participation and general public awareness for environment conservation and ecological, in the area. The general trend of the community for ecology and environment preservation shall be strengthened.
