The initiative has conducted a SSC Workshop and established Ukraine-Belarus SCOs Network and a Dialog Group to ensure sustainability in the long-term prospective. The participants regularly carry out follow-up digital workshops and peer-to-peer events. As such, scientists and practitioners who are members of the Dialog Group, have developed scientific research and guidelines that resulted in digital open course on Social Inclusion (http://www.ecoacademy.org.ua/book/socialna-inklyuziya), methodological guidelines "Social and Environment-friendly Entrepreneurship for Communities" (http://www.ecoacademy.org.ua/publication/ekologo-oriyentovane-socialne-pidpryyemnyctvo-u-gromadi), "Social Inclusion and Tourism" (http://www.ecoacademy.org.ua/publication/inklyuzyvno-reabilitaciynyy-turyzm) and "Social Aspect of Work with PwD" (http://www.ecoacademy.org.ua/publication/ekopsyhologichni-osnovy-socialnoyi-roboty-iz-lyudmy-z-invalidnistyu). Project participants disseminate received knowledge, best practices and commonly developed materials through the local CSOs networks to promote social transformation changes.
As a result, many of the ideas and approaches are being replicated in Ukraine including creating non-barrier infrastructure, installing solar photovoltaic modules providing cost-efficient electricity and LED outdoor lighting to social rehabilitation centers, establishing agro-ecological plots for mental recovery purposes, empowering social eco-oriented entrepreneurship and businesses solutions with extensive PwD involvement, etc. In addition, several social entrepreneurship demonstration projects are supported in Ukraine, covering low carbon technologies, agro-ecologic and recycling mainstreaming.
Moreover, the project implemented a few COVID-19 response activities for PwD. The 1st one formed women self-support groups to produce masks and medical suits that were disseminated among older people, social workers and medical staff. Another one installed a greenhouse to increase food security of women with disabilities during pandemic as they suffer from irregular food supplies and lack of financing.
