The environment of the northern route of the island of Semau is preserved as a coastal ecotourism area managed by the community. In addition, it is hoped that networks will be formed with tour operators and other regional communities to support the sustainability of ecotourism.

How the community measures the success of the activity
The success of activities is measured by the number of tourist visits that continue to be stable, the community knows the coastal use zone, the increase in the number of certain fish catches in the coastal zone and the destination is maintained clean.

Opportunities for sustainability of activities
Activities will continue because Pokdarwis that has been formed has a structure and tourism management program and management. In addition, there are village regulations regarding zoning and management of coastal tourism that are mutually agreed upon.

Estimation of Risks and Actions
- Risks in developing coastal ecotourism include price competition and fishing methods that tourists do not like (shooting fish). Price is an attractive factor for tourists to visit tourist sites. Prices are usually set based on the destination offered. Regulation and management through pokdarwis and village regulations control prices.
Fishing in Semau is still traditional, using arrows. This method is seen as one of the ways to conserve coral reefs. But for some tourists, this method is not liked. Tourists prefer to catch fish which will then be released back into the sea. The solution is zoning sites that can be captured by archery and areas that are not allowed. Another measure is the existence of regulations regarding the types of fish that can be caught. So that there is no excessive exploitation of fish resources
