This grant will assist GEF SGP in producing the seventh country programme strategy for Saint Lucia. The grantee was identified by responding to TORs which were published in social media and to consultants. The goal of the project is: The production of a Global Environment Facility Small Grants Programme (GEF SGP ) for Country Programme Strategy (GEF 7) for Saint Lucia which complies with the Global Environment Facility (GE) Standards.

The objectives are to: (i) undertake in-depth research in order to obtain information (on relevant current, past, and planned projects, status of ecosystems, stakeholder capacities, resource availability), critical to the development of a CPS for Saint Lucia; (ii) prioritize areas of intervention and key actions to deliver on conservation targets; (iii)prepare and finalise the CPS 7 in accordance with GEF standards for approval by the NSC and CPMT; and (iv) promote the CPS 7 to various publics as a means of increasing their knowledge and accessibility to the grants.
