The Development and Beautification of Mu?la Karabaglar Association are committed for the sustainable usage of Karabaglar Landscape for 25 years. Interviews are conducted with old and local people who know the area well in the last documentary that is carried out by The Development and Beautification of Mu?la Karabaglar Association. As a result of the documentary the importance and the urgency of the landscape have been identified. The environmental and cultural problems of Karaba?lar Landsacepe are; 1) The ecosystem of Karabaglar Landscape is under danger because of the destruction of ?irim/kesik? 2) The problem of floodwater with the non-usage of traditional water management systems 3) Management. This project recommends the solutions for these problems under three main headings; 1) Discover the region and introduce the region 2) Create a management structure and include all stakeholders 3) Suggest alternative peaceful policies and practices. Therefore, the damage of the important characteristics, environmental and cultural characteristics of Karabaglar Landscape will be explained and shown to the local people and people who migrate to Karabaglar Landscape from rural areas and other cities. The activities of the project includes increasing awareness, training, promotion, management committee and management plan to conserve and to transfer to future generations the main cultural landscape values of Karabaglar Landscape which is ?irim/kesik?, ?yurt?, sinkholes, biological diversity and endemic varieties (karaa?aç, wild plants, P?trakl? Melon vb.), traditional agricultural production, traditional water management system. A Management Committee that includes public and civil society will be constituted to solve the management problem of the Karabaglar Landscape which is a protected area. The active participation of local people in decision-making will be ensured. It is aimed to take democratic and accurate decisions for the future of Karabaglar Landscape by creating the management plan.
