The project?s main objective is to address some of the community?s issues (floods, region?s geographical characteristics, local government?s spontaneous resettlement of Wichí indigenous peoples from their communities. Some of the project?s activities include for community mapping, species survey to determine the territory?s biodiversity and routine monitoring of the territory to strengthen the community?s governance. Other activities such as the use of a small parcel of land to model the possibilities of forest restauration after floods are included in this project.
