Establish Kuh-Siah CCA to promote wild celery and oak tree through traditional local knowledge and participatory conservation and sustainable livelihoods for Mugremun villages of Tamavoli sub-tribe
One of the most important Oak habitats is Kuh-Siah (Kohkiluyeh and Boyer Ahmad Province) which is currently threatened (9500ha) by overharvest, overgrazing, fires, etc. In this project, endangered plant species will be protected with support from the local communities (Tamavolis) and one plant nursery will be established to enhance biodiversity and promote additional livelihoods. Also a CCA (4ha) will be established to protect the natural habitat of the Mountain Celery.
