The project is aimed at the overall objective of capacity building for communities and local authorities (communes, villages) to themselves adapt to climate change in agricultural production.
- Specific objectives:
+ Stock-taking of experiences, initiatives and good practices of the community, GEF/SGP-funded projects and others of stakeholders in climate change adaptation.
+ Sharing information, experiences and connecting people and communities for them to learn about climate change adaptation in agriculture by a series of events, including exhibitions, study visits and dialogue forums..
+ Sharing and enhancing understanding of policies, solutions and adaptation skills in general and community-based adaptation in particular for commune, village and community authorities.
+ Documenting support and recommendations on community-based climate change adaptations.

The project's key results will be:
+ Desk review conducted and synthesis report produced on initiatives and good practices from local communities, GEF SGP -funded projects and other stakeholders in climate change adaptation.
+ An exhibition organized on climate resilient agriculture, with at least 20 booths of local communities? and business products
+ 120 people be visited 4 community-based climate change adaptive agriculture models in Thua Thien Hue province.
+ 1 forum on the topic "Community-based climate change adaptation" organized with 120 participants from the country. .
+ 1 report be produced on recommendations to promote community-based climate change adaptation and support policy
+ Project Key Result Report produced and widely disseminated.
