This project serves as an intervention and proactive measure to ensure that impact of river-based tourism activities to the wildlife is minimal while at the same time providing the best experience to guests. In turn, local community will continue to enjoy economic benefit from involvement in tourism.The overall objective is to disseminate knowledge and awareness among the local community (of Weston, Kampung Pilajau and Kampung Seri Serbang) pertaining to sustainable river-based tourism operation to ensure a sustainable wildlife ecosystem and at the same time engaged in initiatives to enhance visitors experience when participating in river cruise tour in these villages.
