The project title Climate & Environment: Learn ? Act ? Impact, Kabul, enhanced the capacity of a young team to take lead, organize and implement all Oxygen (environment and climate change) activities. Total of 138 youth (49 % female) graduated from Oxygen level-1 (basic environment and climate classes including introduction to Fridays for Future, global climate issues plus extra focus on garbage and plastic issues in Kabul. About 69 youth (52 % female) graduated from Oxygen level-2 (increased focus on bio-diversity, global climate issues and specific Afghanistan subjects. Air-pollution, Fossil Fuels, Drought etc. 17 workshops conducted for 492 peers in schools, mosques, IDP-camps and local organizations. Air-pollution demonstration and campaigns conducted. Two very successful Tree campaigns made in Kabul. Fridays for Future actions incl peaceful weekly demonstrations front of Arc, online strikes during Covid-19 and street events such as ?Stop Fossil Fuels? in October 2020 as part of a global Fridays for Future campaign plus Climate march in Paghman. A creative ?Air-pollution and climate change? campaign using shoes with signs to awareness as bad security did not enable & allow demonstrations. Environment and Climate Festival ? 5 days with awareness campaigns and events including a truck carawane with entertainment and awareness raising all around Kabul. About 16 Oxygen Committee Meetings ? leading to establishing of a local Oxygen non-profit organization*. Online participation in multiple global and international youth environment and climate groups and networks. Interviews and media coverage ? including Tolo, Khurshid and Afghanistan Youth TV among more. Interviews with more international journalists including a French writer who wrote a separate chapter about Oxygen and Fridays for Future Afghanistan in a book about the Global Climate Movement.
