Inclusive Green Economy
Project goal Creating conditions for employment and self-employment of people with disabilities in agribusiness, consistent with the principles of a green economy.
Project tasks:
Task 1. Creation of an innovative educational and production site ?Inclusive Green Economy?.
4 sites will be created (up to 40 people will be employed):
? production of vegetables indoors and outdoors (including seedlings);
? flower production (including seedlings);
? production of berry crops (including seedlings);
? sorting and packaging of products;
? delivery of products to the consumer (Bragin, St. Khrakovichi, Komarin, Novaya Iolcha).
Task 2. Training of people with disabilities in agribusiness (up to 40 people).
? training in manufacturing, packaging and working with consumers;
? safety training;
? training to train each other and relatives.
Task 3.Popularization and dissemination of experience in the implementation of the project (in total up to 100 families with people with disabilities + 6 peasant farms from the Bragin, Loevsky and Khoiniki districts will be involved).
? harvest days (monthly in season, for families);
? festival ?Inclusive green economy?.
Expected results:
the center ?Inclusive green economy? created and economically sound as a model of social entrepreneurship; 38 people with disabilities trained and work as employed or self-employed; the center?s production complies with the principles of a green economy (without organic waste, partial use of alternative energy, non-plastic production); For the first time, the local program ?Inclusive Green Economy? developed, based on public-private partnerships.

Policy Influence
The Inclusive Green Economy program became a governmental-private partnership program aimed at bringing together the efforts of local authorities and private agricultural producers (peasant farms, personal subsidiary farms, and others) to increase the labor socialization of people with disabilities living in the Bragin district.
Replication of project activities
The project was aimed at solving the social, environmental and economic problems of the Bragin district. In the future, the territory has become a pilot area for disseminating successful experience and popularizing organic farming using inclusion approaches. Green Economy + Inclusion = Sustainable Development method will be used 3 districts of Homel region in 2023 according to the state authorities discussions.
