Reviving Coconut Palms and Culture
The primary objective of this project is to revive the culture of making Addu Bondi and will take place within S. Meedhoo, Maldives. With the implementation of this project precious culture will be preserved, community members especially ? particularly women ? will gain another form of income and the island?s ecosystem will be enriched due to one of the project?s activities; planting coconut palms, as the island?s present coconut population has degraded over time.
