Equipping farmers of La Poterie St. Andrew to use an Integrated water resource management approach to combat climate change

The main objectives of this project are to;
1. To remove excess water from the surface of the land and rootzones of plants and empty into a large collector drain. establish riparian buffer zones along 13 farms to stabilize and prevent erosion by retaining excess water using grass and fruit trees to provide an additional income by May 2020
2. Manage and conserve water by erecting water harvesting systems to supply plants during the dry season by September 2020
3. Increase knowledge of farmers and promote activities on climate change impacts on Agriculture in La. Poterie
