The project aims to promote the results through the dissemination and implementation of best practices by creating groups in 7 regions (Akmola, Karaganda, Kostanai, Almaty, East Kazakhstan region, Kyzylorda and Turkestan) - dialogue platforms, within which trips to project territories and to regional centers would be held and organized round tables to familiarize and promote the results of GEF SGP projects. The implementation of the proposed project will allow to replicate the results of SGP OP6 projects and take measures to study the experience and implementation of similar projects in other regions of Kazakhstan. At the same time, the project will strengthen the role of non-governmental organizations executing OP6 pilot projects as sectors influencing the improvement of such priority areas as biodiversity, climate change, and land degradation. Proper coverage and communication of information to the regional public. Administrative structures, ministries and departments of the Republic of Kazakhstan through the information infrastructure of the project executor will allow replicating the results at other objects of the landscape territory and disseminating the comprehensive experience of the implemented practices in other regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The expected result of the project is to obtain a positive assessment of the results of OP6 projects from the public, by the leaders of the pilot areas and the possibility of consideration by the local executive bodies of the replication of technologies and practices through the inclusion in the comprehensive plans for the improvement of the regions.
