?Implementing the Best Practices and Training Local Agricultural Manufacturers in Efficient Optimal Resource-saving Technologies of Integrated Amelioration and Reclamation of Soil Fertility of Arable Lands in Southern Kazakhstan
In the conditions of irrigation on serozem of Southern Kazakhstan, in conditions of intensive agriculture, with regular irrigation with furrow irrigation, there is a problem of secondary salinization, dehumification and demineralization of soils. According to the Kazakh Research Institute of Water Management, in the serozem of Southern Kazakhstan, the low content of calcium and humus is 1-3%, calcium does not exceed 15 mg / kg, phosphogypsum contributes to calcium and improves the water-physical properties of soils, water-holding ability. Also, the introduction of phosphogypsum in combination with organic and carbon preparations will improve the humus component of the soil.
Therefore, the goal of the project is to introduce the application of effective optimal resource-saving technologies for integrated land reclamation and restoration of soil fertility of arable land in Southern Kazakhstan to local agricultural production in order to preserve fertility and prevent degradation of irrigated lands.
Tasks:
1. Lay down a demonstration experience with the use of local preparations - phosphogypsum, vermicompost and ash-carbon fertilizer.
2. To disseminate the best practices in optimizing the cost of fertilizers among farmers in Southern Kazakhstan through field and final seminars, social networks and the creation of a project site.
Expected results - an agrochemical survey will be carried out, an optimal crop rotation and cultivation technology for crop production - onions and soybeans will be developed, at least 50 hectares of irrigated land in the Shengeldin massif of the Almaty region cultivated and cultivated on the farms of Agrofirm TZHN and K LLP, Kaldabaeva S IP, not less than 250 tons of phosphogypsum were utilized, the cost of production was reduced through the use of local cheap drugs and industrial waste by 10-30%.
In the future, a sustainable development of local agro-formations is expected due to an increase in yield and lower costs for land reclamation and fertilizers. Indirectly, water consumption will also decrease by improving the water-physical properties of the soil by 10%, and soil restoration and rehabilitation will take place.
The project also offers training for farmers in the use of local preparations and production wastes, in calculating doses based on agrochemical analyzes, as well as in the future providing them with paid services for agro escort and agro consulting for farms, agrochemical inspection, based on the research. Providing optimal schemes of production flow charts and field work schedules, optimal programs for soil reclamation, fertilizer and plant protection.
