Located in the village Mani Acher Taluka Ratodero, the main goals of the project include, reduction of land degredation caused by salinization and to enrich the soil of the crop land, to improve the irrigation patron, to improve the environment and reduce pollution by planting trees. The increase in the out put of land for small land owners and farmers to preserve fish ponds as well as to involve women of the are in the environment sector to generate income through trees, fish ponds and crops are also stated objectives.

The activities to be conducted under the project are the leveling of the land, digging of drains of the project area, maintenance of soils in crop lands and for block plantations, the setting up of central nursery and development of five sub nurseries in five villages along with the fish ponds. It is expected that through the project the containment of using sub surface water tables and reduction of water logging salinity will take place. Furthermore the income of the croppers will be enhanced through various aspects. A sense of social forestry may be created in such a way among the community of the area, and the purpose of women?s involvement in the environmental activities may be increased. Also very importantly an anticipated result is of fish preservation through the creation fish ponds.
