Houay Fong is in Nadou Village Xayphouthong District, Savannakhet Province, the length of river flows through many villages? communities from north to south. In the past Houay Fong was rich of biological with a wide range of flora and fauna. In recently some areas are being destroyed, environmental condition lost due to natural disaster and invaders as a source of livelihood of people in village, people around village are now living with difficulty because of the vegetation, wildlife, aquatic started missing and extinct, people have not any regulation or rule to protect the biological. The project is recognized the importance of irrigation to conserve biodiversity, in particular the conservation of wildlife, biodiversity and provide water sources to enable people turning to subsistence farming and encourage people to get a job, know how to raise livestock which is a source of earning for their families, exposed to the methods of production, environmental conservation created and environmentally sustainable human resources. Project will provide the sustainable conservation training conducted along the side to make people have better living, alleviate poverty and make the sustain biodiversity stay with people forever; create irrigation canals to serve the people and conserve biodiversity.
