Donmai village situated in a flat valley with steep on the south side 15 km west of Sayabouly provincial capital. The community has been practicing subsistence agriculture like paddy rice, small livestock, and collective non-timber forest products (NTFPs). The extended of dry /droughts periods in the past few years has raised the need for community to address the threats to sustainability and the need to intensify production sustainability. The project aims to help local people on how to do a good practice on sustainable livestock management; fish farming; rice cropping; and irrigation.
