General Objectives (Mission and Vision and Values ??to be achieved at the end of the proposed program)
In general, the aim of this program is that the people of Tumba Hamlet together with the Higher Education establish relationships and cooperation in transforming water resources into electricity (Pico hydro) to support the economic business of production produced by residents' lands. With the existence of pico hydro which is used or benefited residents, other efforts such as protecting forests as catchment areas are one of the main objectives of this program priority.
Expected results at the end of collaboration with GEF SGP
Through the SGP program, it is expected that the final outcome will be sustainable management of renewable energy innovations to meet the needs of citizens' electrification land and productive economy. With the installation of the SHS system it is expected that the assisted groups can:
- Learning of Tumba Hamlet residents in water conservation through pico hydro technology.
- Pico hydro and SHS system technical and non-technical management capabilities.
- Has the ability to manage financial management to ensure the sustainability of the system.
- Empowering residents of Tumba Hamlet, especially women through increasing the role of women in small businesses.
- Reducing CO2 reduction through the installation of Pico Hydro and SHS technologies.
Mainstreaming Gender and Social Inclusion
What is the role of men and women in the proposed activity (focusing on women's needs). How this activity can be enjoyed by all groups in society including marginalized groups.
How does the community measure the success of activities
The success of the activity is carried out through a participatory monitoring process by periodically evaluating the activities. Communities measure the success of activities by conducting regular monitoring and evaluation processes. Monitoring and evaluation activities include:
- Discipline of contributions from the community is done by evaluating the financial condition or cash flow every month, if there is a problem, if there is a problem what is the right solution to solve the problem.
- Increase in income from agricultural commodities and turnover of agricultural businesses is done by regular monitoring and evaluation with the help of group facilitators.
Solution or problem solving for problems that occur due to activities
a. Estimated Risks and Actions
a. The risks that are very likely to arise due to public rejection because the information about pico hydro is relatively large consequently the cost.
b. Related to this problem the process of implementing Pico Hydro activities involves key actors since the beginning of this activity will be carried out, as well as the need for assistance to the community.
