Establishment of Youth Center for Climate Action Initiatives for better livelihoods
The projects is piloting practical, economically sustainable and community-based solutions addressing climate change and improving livelihoods for young generation. For this purpose, Center for Climate Action Initiatives was established in close cooperation with local authorities, educational institutions, CSOs and young activists. The Center supports and promotes youth-led climate initiatives including renewable and energy efficiency technologies for youth employment and entrepreneurship, as well as provides learnings opportunities and professional trainings, creates new jobs and empowers local youth to lead climate action. The initiative has a strong focus on social inclusion of young people with disabilities.

Inovative Financial Mechanisms
The project activities includes development of studentbook on climatology and a number of trainings and classes for students.
Gender Focus
The project management team is composed of men and women with equal representation. This provides an opportunity for both men and women to have a voice in decision-making at different stages of the project implementation. The project implementing process allows both men and women to get information, gain knowledge, skills and specific competencies in the field of climate change. The project will allow boys and girls to upgrade their own gender-role functionality to better realize themselves in modern Ukrainian society.
