The main aim of the project is to sustainably conserve the mangrove area of N. Maalhendhoo in such a way that it creates livelihood opportunities for the vulnerable communities on the island in addition to fostering biological diversity through the rehabilitation of the ecosystem. By the end of the project, walkways and waiting zones will be created and informative boards regarding the various species living in the area will be produced.
