The project aims to improve socioeconomic activities in the island by enhancing public participation in agricultural sector in response to COVID19 situation. This is done by expanding the set up of educational and experimental agro-ecology system in a previous GEF SGP project. This project is expected to improve knowledge and develop the agricultural sector in the island by optimizing land and natural resource usage in farming. The project is also expected to utilize solar powered watering systems to reduce water wastage and the time farmers spend on watering the crops.
