After sparse damage to infrastructure and building following the November 2020 earthquake, the onset of repair activities have been seen by many municipalities and urban planners as an opportunity for greening and improving the public spaces. The initiative is highly welcomed by the communities since the rapid urbanization of the last 30 years lacked the creation of green leisure areas in close proximity to residential blocks of flats.
This project will rehabilitate currently a derelict area near a block of flats in the locally known ?People?s quarters? in the municipality of Shijaku
