Livelihoods and Sustainable Mariculture (Spiny Lobster and Sea Moss Training) in Savannes Bay, Vieux Fort, Saint Lucia.
The grantee wishes to develop a sustainable aquaculture lobster project which helps to create employment for young people and contributes to food security in Saint Lucia. The project will help the group acquire a lease of the seabed, prepare a management plan, conduct a estaqblish a water quality monitoring system and appropriate training.
It is anticipated that a Full Grant Project Proposal will be submitted for project implementation at the end of this stage of the project cycle.
