Jamia Qamar ul Islam Trust is operating a religious institution, which imparts religious education to a large number of students. The Board of the Trustee has sought financial and technical assistance from GEF-SGP to impart environmental education to their students.

The project aims to impart environmental education along with religious education to students and teachers of the institution. Under this project the strategy will be to hire an experts from organizations working for the improvement and protection of the environment. The expert will deliver lectures to the students as well as train them to develop nursery for plants at school as well as to their home. At the end about 50 students and 20 girls will be benefited. This will create interest and sense of importance for plants growing. That will also benefit economically both to the individual as well as to nation as a whole.
To create awareness of environmental issues among religious students and train them in nursery raising for improving their livelhoods.
