The Demarcation of Dirivola Forest Resource Management Area, and Strengthening Livelihood activities for Sirubai Communities is located on Vella La Vella Island in the Western Province. The general objective of this project is to formalise and document the establishment of Dirivola Forest Resource Management Area. The organisation will engage with partners and local expert in forest conservation to implement the project whilst support the community by creating and strengthening livelihood activities for its people.
Key Activities are; 1. Mapping of Dirivola Forest Management Area including significant cultural sites
2. Developing and documentation of a management plan
3. Conduct natural resource management awareness activity in Schools To create alternative livelihood activities for community
